Poetry - Writing Your Rhythm with Meter and Rhyme

Poetry, by it's nature, is very focused on techniques of language and sound. Poems become fixed in the reader's mind through indelible images which slip off the tongue with a special kind of grace.

This is not to say that poems are always pretty or "romantic."  Quite the contrary.
